I"m new to this and I've come to get some information if anyone would care to help. I have a friend who is a singer/songwriter. His dream has always been to be an artist. He had throat cancer and finished his last treatment about 6 months ago and he can't sing all his songs like he feels he needs to to market his songs. We thought about selling them to some of the artists like.....Travis Tritt and Allen Jackson. But we don't know how to go about doing that. If someone knows how to get in touch with the managers of some of these artists or any other information you can provide, We would be truly grateful and indebted to you for filling this dream of his. You can e-mail me with the info McLaren_T@msn.com. Sorry to give you a life story but hope someone will understand and help us. Thank you again in advance for any help. Tracy

Truthfully, if it was that easy we would all be submitting our songs to the artists managers. Submitting material is a tricky business. They wont accept "unsolicited material" (= not asked for), for legal reasons. So it means trying to get your stuff through a publisher, entertainment lawyer, etc.. Good luck and I hope everything works out.
