Texas song title?

Hello all! I was wondering if anyone knows who sings the song where a guy is singing about "feeling at home" and going to a bunch of Texas towns. Thanks.

Two songs came to mind when I read this posts.

The first one being a remake of I've Been Everywhere adapted to be I've Been Everywhere (In Texas) that one is by Bryan Burns.Some of the words.

I was toting my pack along a dusty Amarillo road
When along came a semi with a high and canvas covered loadIf you're going to Amarillo Mack, you can ride with me
So I climbed up in the cab and i settled down inside
He asked me if I've seen a road with so much dust and sand
And I said "Listen buddy I traveled every raod in this here land.

then it goes on to name about 50 or more different Texas cities and towns.

Also there is Chalrie Robinson's My Hometown

it is about a young man going out to see the world or at least the country and deciding that home is the best place. The first verse goes like this.

Well played ball nearly every fall
I could run just like the wind
I went to college like they asked me too
but they didn't asked my friend
don't think I seen a single class room but I drank alot of beer
My buddies all love to listen to me when I talk about that year.

So I'll see you in Austin if I ever get out that way

Thanks for all the help! I also called a DJ at a station and found out it was actually the Ben Atkins Band "Take Me Home". Thanks again.
