Here's one. Anyone know a song about an old black man who is teased by the local rednecks in a game where he always picks a nickel over a quarter? Hint: when asked why he would allow himself to be humiliated, he responds "if I ever picked the quarter I knew the game would end."

Good luck.

I know that song...

"Luther here's dollar
Luther here's a quarter
Pick either one you want old man
Which one will it be?

Then they'd all whoop and holler
'Cause he never took the dollar
He'd take the shiny quarter
And then just (walk away?)."

I'm tempted to say it was a Boxcar Willie song, but I can't be positive.
