Need help with this song title/artist

It is driving me nuts I do not know who sings this song or the title. Any help would be appreciated.

The lyrics are something along the lines of:

I see that letting you go was right.. I never saw you smile at me that way before, I never saw you look that way before, She never danced with me that way before, she never held me that close..

Not in that order but along those lines. The guy has a Chris Cagle kind of voice but I dont think it was him and I cant find it on his website. I called the radio station and they cant seem to look it up on their play list! Thanks for any help you can give.

i'm not sure if this is the song you're looking for or not, cause the lyrics are different than what you posted, but it has a similar meaning. the song i'm thinking of is "She Doesn't Dance" by Mark McGuinn

Arg Thats a really good song, but thats not it. I think its an older song. I wish I could listen to the radio on my computer and wait for it but that station only streams through aol!
