There's a song I heard the other night, and I don't know any of the lyrics, but it was about a wife and her husband on the phone, and he says something like can i hear you smile one last time or something. She cries and falls on the kitchen floor when his phone goes out, and at the end you find out that the husband was a pilot and his plane crashes. Sorry I'm not sure of the lyrics, but it was really good and I've only heard it once. If any of ya'll could help.... Thank you!! |

Sounds like it might be "Little Did She Know (She's Kissed A Hero)" by Kristy Jackson. It's a veterans-9/11 song, "dedicated to all of the firefighters, rescue workers, police officers, paramedics, nurses, doctors, EMTs, pilots, flight attendants, and the passengers on all of the fallen airlines that day and to ALL of the heroes whose stories we have heard about and especially those heroes whose complete stories we will never know...... " . There is a web site where you can buy it.
Here's a verse-
The phone had rung
His voice was calm
Before he could tell her anything she knew something was wrong
I love you so
The last words he’d said
She said I love you too
And then the phone went dead |
