Nashville Star 6

Hey everyone!

I am very very VERY excited for the new season of Nashville Star to start! I love Jewel and Billy Ray Cyrus is the Host as well! I can't wait to see what new country artists come up out of this show! I am probably even more excited to see the horrible terrible no good singers and songwriters! My favorite part of the show is to see the bad ones! I saw a couple audition tapes on YouTube of season 6 and it looks like its gonna be great! There is this one guy that sings a song he wrote called "I aint that stupid" and its sooooooper funny! He looks like a fat wannabe Hulk Hogan! I also saw this one video of a Mime Trying out! I dont know what he was thinking but it is very very funny! Maybe we should have a show called Nashville Mimes!

Anyways, Im super excited! Watch the show on Monday on NBC and come back on and tell me what you think! I wanna know!

I saw the same video! LMAO! I'm very excited for Nashville Star this Monday, and now that it's on NBC I think a lot more people are going to get into it!

My buddy just told me Taylor Swift is performing! Lets just hope the the girl contestants are half as hot as her!

And the best part of it all?? It's on at 9pm right after American Gladiators!

I'm excited about Nashville Star too! I heard a rumor that Shania Twain was going to be on the season premiere Monday but since her divorce news has come out she's obviously not making many public appearances Sad

Monday at 9 pm. My *Horse's Patoot* is on the couch watching!

It looks like country music star Trace Adkins is becoming a regular on reality TV shows. Recently, Trace Adkins appeared on the Celebrity Apprentice and made it all the way to second place. Now, Trace Adkins is scheduled to give a performance on Nashville Star 6. Trace Adkins will be performing his number one single “You’re Gonna Miss This.”

Louisiana-born Trace Adkins is a member of the Grand Ole Opry, and he has recorded seven studio albums. Adkins has also released two greatest hits albums. During Celebrity Apprentice, Adkins competed on behalf of the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network. Adkins has raised over $300,000 for the charity.

Even though Nashville Star 6 premiered last week, the show was pre-taped. The first live episode of Nashville Star 6 will air on Monday, June 16 from 9 PM to 10:30 PM ET. Also, the contestant eliminations will now be decided by viewer voting. Last week, finalist Charley Jenkins was eliminated by the Nashville Star judges.

Mentoring of the contestants will also begin on the Monday, June 16 episode. The remaining finalists will be split into three different groups, consisting of female solo artists, male solo artists and groups. Judges John Rich, Jewel, and Jeffrey Steele will each mentor one of the three groups throughout the remaining episodes.
