I want to write a country song, but I don't know where to start. Do you know of any country style chord progressions to start a country song??? How do I make a country song sound country???

Thanks #Mad

Use a standard 3 chord progression. D-G-A or C-F-G. Use open chords and let it come from the heart. That is, from your life experience. Describe a babbling brook you like to hang around at and bring it to life with the music, for example.

If your woman didn't just leave you don't make a song about that. Make a song of how you feel about being with her now. That's all it takes.
